I went to Kelly McBride because I needed relief from injuries sustained back in the military in the late 1980’s.  The types of injuries and their lasting effects ranged from separated shoulders (both twice) as  well as a severely broken ankle.  Over the last decade these injuries have continued to pose problems that were not resolved by traditional medicine (chiropractic etc..). After seeing Kelly at first once or twice a week these nagging pains were gone and the pain far more manageable to non-existent.  She has also done wonders for my sleep cycle.  I had been having issues of waking up at 3am consistently and notbeing able to get back to sleep.  These sessions have dramatically reduced that to where I am now getting a sound 7-8 hours per night.  Go see Kelly, you won’t regret it.

I have been suffering from lower back pain since the fourth grade.   Over the years I have used hot pads, cold packs, pain killers, and chiropractic treatments all with varying degrees of success.  It has always been important for me to be watch what I do or pay the price.  In the fall of 2007 my back went out. The pain was very intense but I was even more mad because I knew recovery would mean two to three weeks of constant pain, lots of ibuprofen, and looking funny because I could not stand up straight.  My wife said to give acupuncture a try.  I called and Kelly was able to treat me later that day.  After 45 minutes I was amazed that I could stand up and the pain was considerable decreased.  It only took three days to fully recover.  Though periodic maintenance visits I have greatly reduced my back worries. Picking up and carrying my 3 and 5 year old kids in no longer a risky act it once was.  I am now hooked and a big believer in acupuncture.

For the past 10 plus years I have struggled with knee pain and about seven years ago had surgery. I have been having severe low back problems for over ten years and have gone to many specialists, used a VAX machine, Tens apparatus, etc.   I had an operation 5 years ago, which took nine hours, fused four discs, left a scar about 6 inches long both front and back.  I had been on strong medication, even after the operation.  Now I have been getting acupuncture from Kelly McBride for several years and it keeps the pain to levels which I can live with.  I am so grateful for having someone so knowledgeable within a close driving distance.

Hot flashes, night sweats and general unease have plagued me for years.  Working with Kelly has done wonders. I now can be in the same room with everyone else without saying "Do you think it's hot in here."

I still have lots of layers of health issues that have built up over the past fifty something years, but over time, the healing has been remarkable.

My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for 6 years when I began talking to Kelly about fertility. She had helped us both with pain and stress, but I did not tell her about the infertility. In February 2009, Kelly started doing needles for fertility only. I went in every week, and after just five weeks of doing the fertility only treatments, I became pregnant. I had had several miscarriages before so we were very nervous, but this felt different from the beginning. I maintained my weekly visits whenever possible, and felt great my entire pregnancy. I gave birth to a very happy and healthy baby girl December 21, 2009.

Wish us luck, we have just begun acupuncture weekly for another baby. I would recommend this to everyone. No drugs, no needles (in the form of a shot anyway!) no side effects, and from what I have heard from my family and friends, I had the perfect pregnancy. Kelly is very good at what she does and we do not have the words that could express how grateful we are. I wish I had found her six years ago!

I just wanted to thank you in writing after 3 years of being sore throat, cold, sinus infection, and pneumonia free. I truly believe if I had gone on like this another year, right now I would have been 6 feet under. You brought me from death's door, literally, to wonderful health.
