She is particularly interested in delivering the best combination of therapies to assist patients in finding relief from their symtpoms. Here she studied acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and internal martial arts. She also studied in China at the University of Chengdu where she observed and trained in the hospital and attended lectures. Tarah received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Tarah has worked as an acupuncturist in a variety of clinical settings including a physicians office, on a cruise ship, in a private clinic setting, and currently in a community clinic setting. She also volunteers her acupuncture services at the Aliveness Project in Minneapolis, an organization dedicated to ensuring the quality of life for individuals with HIV/AIDS. |
